Baguette on Broadway : what is it?
Passionate about musical comedy from a young age, I moved to London almost 4 years ago to pursue musical comedy studies in London. I recently graduated with a Masters in Musical Comedy from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama! 🎓
I have the chance to perform on stage and often go to the theater in Paris, London and New York. This is how I came up with the idea of creating a site that would provide information and reviews on the world of musical theater in the United States, England and France.
That's how born Baguette on Broadway! 🥖🚦
But why the name, you ask? Proud of my French heritage, my nickname evolved and ended up becoming Baguette! I decided to decline this nickname as an alter ego that would bring some crisp and useful info about the musical. Being an actress myself, I found it important to share my “insider” experience in the world of musicals.
On this site, you will find reviews of plays and musicals and news about the world of theater. But also articles that will help you become a pro at musical comedy with an English-French dictionary of theatrical vocabulary and lots of quizzes.
I also created an encyclopedia of musicals with a summary, videos and anecdotes to help you choose the musical to discover according to your preferences.
This site also gives you the opportunity to discover the important figures of the field and the upcoming shows and artists who define the world of theater of tomorrow!
