Full cast announced for Hello, Dolly in London

The complete distribution of Hello, Dolly! has finally been announced.
The show opens at the Adelphi Theater in London on August 11, until March 6, 2021.

We told you a month ago that Imelda Staunton would play the lead role, Dolly Levi. It has also been learned that she will play Queen Elizabeth II in the final two seasons of The Crown, succeeding Claire Foy and Olivia Colman.

Jenna Russell, known for her roles in Sondheim musicals, will play the role of Irene Molloy. Andy Newman, who impressed London audiences in Fiddler on the Roof, will be Horace Vandergelder.

The cast is completed by 3 rising stars from the English theater. Clare Halse will be Minny Fay. We recently saw the young actress in the main roles of 42nd Street et Singin' in the Rain at the Théâtre du Châtelet.
Harry Hepple (Romantics Anonymous, Follies, Into the Woods) will be Cornelius Hackl and Tyrone Huntley (Jesus Christ Superstar, The View Upstairs, Meangirls) will be Barnaby Tucker.

The cast is completed by Craig Armstrong, Gemma Atkins, Jenni Bowden, Alan Bradshaw, Natalie Chua, Joshua Clemetson, Brendan Cull. As well as Bessy Ewa, Isaac Gryn, Ashlee Irish, Jodie Jacobs, Paul Kemble, Emily Langham, Amira Matthews, Sarah Marie Maxwell. Laura Medforth, Matt Overfield, Angelo Paragoso. Tom Partridge, Wendy Lee Purdy, Edwin Ray, Phil Snowden. Finally Bree Smith, Christine Tucker, Gavin Wilkinson and Liam Wrate complete the cast.

      Please vote your message.
      If you go to the artists' entrance after the show, there's a good chance the actors will be able to sign programs and take photos. There is unfortunately no guarantee but it is worth a try!
      With current sanitary conditions, these outings may change, I will let you know as soon as possible!
