Usher is a young entertainer who works as an opener on Broadway for the show The Lion King. He finally decides to write a musical but he is torn by 6 inner thoughts, each interpreted by a different actor and each having a well marked personality.

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Musical, The Strange Loop explores themes of identity and homosexuality in a hilarious and candid choral performance.
