Summary of the musical Beautiful - The Carole King Musical :

Beautiful traces the meteoric rise of Carole King, one of the greatest singer-songwriters of the 16th century. Carole was XNUMX when she presented her first song “It Might as Well Rain Until September” to New York producer Don Kirshner. Shortly after, she met her future husband and collaborator Gerry Goffin. In a musical whirlwind, the couple get married and King gives birth to their first child. The duo are making a name for themselves in the music business, hitting back and forth.
However, as their career progresses, Carole's personal life falls apart. Gerry announces that he wants an affair. As Carole tries to hold her marriage together, she is supported by her mischievous friends and rivals, Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann. Although they are all vying for the top spot on the pop chart, Carole relies on their support to turn her life around and find her own voice.
Beautiful: The Carole King Musical features a tapestry of Carole King's greatest hits through the 60s and 70s.
