Beauty and the Beast
(The beauty and the Beast)

An arrogant young prince and the servants of his castle fall under the spell of an enchantress who turns him into a hideous beast. The only way he can break the spell is by learning to love another and earn her love in return before the last petal of her enchanted rose wilts, on her 21st birthday. But who could learn to love a beast?
Ten years later, Maurice, an inventor from a nearby village, gets lost in the woods and seeks refuge in the Chateau de la Bête. The Beast imprisons him for trespassing. His daughter Belle, a bookworm who dreams of living outside her provincial village, finds him trapped in the castle and swaps his place
. The Beast accepts with a promise that she will stay in the castle forever. At first, Belle sees him as a monster and he considers her difficult and stubborn. But both will soon realize they were wrong.
