Pal Joey

Using his self-confidence and arrogance, Joey Evans manages to be an MC at a club. He soon has a girlfriend; the naive Linda. He treats her badly and finds himself embroiled in an affair with a wealthy, married client - Vera. Vera then helps Joey open his own nightclub. However, after Joey accidentally signs his life with a rogue agent, he attempts to blackmail Vera.
