Singin' in the Rain
(Let's sing in the rain)

Summary of the musical Let's sing in the rain :

In 1927, Don was a silent movie star and worked hard to get where he is today, along with his friend Cosmo. Together with his acting partner, Lina Lamont, they are a romantic on-screen couple. However Lina, confuses their romance in the cinema for a real love.
While on the run from his fans, Don meets Kathy Selden, an up-and-coming actress, and falls in love with her. When Don and Lina's latest movie is turned into a musical, Don has the perfect voice for the songs. But Lina has a high-pitched, unbearable voice that no diction coach knows how to soften. They decide to double her voice with Kathy's. When Lina finds out about the studio's strategy, she doesn't want to share the credits with Kathy. She decides to sabotage the budding romance between Don and Kathy.
