The Wild Party (Lipa)

Queenie is a vaudeville dancer and Burrs her passionate lover is a vaudeville clown. She's fed up with the life she's living and the pain Burrs puts her through and decides to party one last time. Burrs agrees and they invite a whole bunch of colorful characters to their place. Queenie decides to make Burrs jealous. When Kate (a high-class prostitute who has an eye on Burrs) shows up with a mysterious man named Mr. Black, Queenie goes a little too far and begins to fall in love. After a long night of decadence climaxes, Burrs' jealousy becomes too much for him and he turns to violence, which ultimately leads to his own demise. The young woman is left to decide the next step for her in this violent and tragic world of the 1920s.
