Matthew Warchus will direct the adaptation. He was the one who staged the original RSC production in 2009. He also directed the film. Pride, LGBT film released in 2014 and which I highly recommend!
The film will be produced by Working Title Films. The production company responsible for the films Billy Elliot, Fargo and Love Actually.
Filming will take place between August and December in the United Kingdom. The film's release date will be announced soon.
We hope that the film will succeed in capturing the magic created in the scenic version.
