The production agencies Kindred Productions and Calamity Films are behind this project. The producer Adam Kenwright announced “We are very happy to bring life to Ten percent in a new West End musical. We are confident that we can produce a whole new musical that offers wit, comedy and drama, all with the romance of Paris. ". Series creator Michel Feller explained that the producers should feel "completely free to make the best show they can…don't be too respectful of our show!" "
