A Bronx Tale

Calogero is a nine year old boy living in the Bronx, known for his gangster bars, his racist and aggressive character. Calogero witnesses a street shootout involving gangster Sonny, a local gangster, but refuses to turn him over to the police. Sonny begins to like the boy and begins to teach him behind the scenes of what's going on on the street. Calogero's father is a worker who wants his child to grow up and earn his money honestly. He doesn't want him to mingle with Sonny. Despite his father's disapproval, Calogero continued to see Sonny for eight years and received a "street education". Calogero continues to get involved with his friends in racism and fighting. Things get worse when he falls in love with a black girl. As the child gets closer to a gangster, he begins to move away from his family.
