Aladdin

Summary of the musical Aladdin :

This stage version is adapted from the 1992 Disney film.

Aladdin is a poor street kid who spends his time stealing food from the market in Agrabah. His adventures begin when he meets a young girl who happens to be Princess Jasmine, who is trying to escape from a marriage arranged by her father. Aladdin's luck suddenly changes when he retrieves a magic lamp from the Cave of Wonders. By rubbing this lamp, Aladdin inherits an extravagant genie who only wishes for his freedom. Little do they know that the sultan's sinister adviser, Jafar, has his own plans for Aladdin and the Lamp.
