Allegro

Allegro chronicles nearly four decades in the life of an ordinary American man, Joseph Taylor. Joe marries his childhood sweetheart and accepts a high-level job in a Chicago hospital to support himself and his wife, Jennie, during the Great Depression.
Her difficulties with Jennie and her life in Chicago help Joe to make a mistake in life. He discovers who he is and the meaning of life.
