Anastasia

Young Anastasia is the daughter of Tsar Nicholas II, the ruler of all Russia. She is also the favorite granddaughter of the Empress Dowager, who promises to take her to Paris one day.
While the Empress is in France, the whole family is killed by the Russian Revolution - or at least that's what we believe.

Rumors abound that Anastasia escaped the Bolshevik assassins. The Empress Dowager would offer a nice sum to anyone who could bring her to Paris. In search of a girl who could pass for Anastasia, crooks Dmitry and Vlad see potential in Anya, an amnesiac sweeper who does not remember her life before the revolution. They leave for Paris, determined to convince the Empress, but they end up convincing themselves.
