Cabaret

Summary of the musical Cabaret :

In the 1930s in Berlin, the American Sally Bowles was a singer at the Kit Kat club. She meets Brian Roberts, an English student who has come to learn German and who hopes to pay his costs by giving English lessons.
Despite Brian's confusion over his sexuality, the couple falls in love, but the arrival of the rich and decadent playboy Maximilian von Heune complicates their lives for both of them. This love triangle plays against the rise of the Nazi party and the fall of the Weimar Republic.
