Summary of the musical Cinderella :
Welcome to Belleville! As for 49 years, the inhabitants are preparing to receive the prize for the most beautiful city. For the 50th year, the Queen erected a statue in tribute to her eldest son, Prince Charming, who died in battle. But the statue having been vandalized, the city loses its prize. All the inhabitants accuse Cinderella, gothic maid and loudmouth.
Cinderella's sisters-in-law Adele and Marie complain about the bad press she brings them and her stepmother threatens to kick her out. Cinderella dreams of leaving Belleville but remains, secretly in love with her childhood friend, Prince Sebastian, who is also in love with her.
The queen organizes a grand ball, where Sebastian, now heir to the throne, will choose his bride. Determined to go to the ball, Cinderella passes under the wand of the plastic surgeon fairy. Cinderella, unrecognizable, dances with the prince and confesses her feelings to him. But Sebastian, not recognizing her, rejects her. Midnight strikes and it is finally Adèle who is pronounced the future wife of the prince. Devastated, Cinderella decides to leave Belleville for good. At the wedding of Sebastian and Adèle, Prince Charming interrupts the ceremony, admitting to having faked his death to escape his arranged marriage and comes out.
Sebastian decides to follow his heart and goes in search of Cinderella. But will the lovers manage to find each other in time and finally confess their feelings?
