Flashdance The Musical

Summary of the musical Flashdance :

Alex, 19, works all day as a welder. But once night falls, she dances her own choreographies at Harry's Bar. She can count on the support of her friends, Gloria, who is a waitress but dreams of going on stage and Kiki, a dancer like her.
Alex's dream is to attend the prestigious Shipley Dance Academy, but when she finds out about the competition, she runs away from the audition, discouraged.

She starts dating Nick Hurley, her boss's nephew. But when she learns that he bribed the audition jury to make her go to the second round, she gives up on her dreams and prepares to return to her hometown. When her friend Hannah, a former dancer, pays her Shipley Academy tuition, Alex decides to take her destiny into her own hands and take the final audition that will decide her fate.
