Summary of the musical Groundhog Day :
Phil Connors is a self-centered weatherman. He dreads his trip to Punxsutawney, like every year, where he is forced to report on the annual Groundhog Day festivities.
He looks down on locals and is rude to his cameraman and associate producer, Rita. Following a blizzard, he was forced to spend another night in Punxsutawney.
But when he wakes up the next day, he has a bigger problem, he's stuck on February 2. Phil is forced to relive the same day over and over again.
Desperate at first, he then takes advantage of the absence of consequences to indulge in all the nonsense possible and imaginable. Eventually this accident will teach him a lot about himself and others.
