Matilda

Summary of the musical Matilda :

Matilda tells the story of a little girl endowed with extraordinary powers. Her parents are not interested in her and Matilda finds refuge in library books, which she reads quickly and creates her own stories. At school, things aren't much better. Matilda has to deal with a cruel and tyrannical headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, who believes in the motto "Children are maggots". She strikes up a friendship with her shy teacher, Miss Honey. Matilda knows she must fight against the adults of her world, and in doing so, she discovers her own powers. Matilda's bravery teaches Miss Honey and her classmates an important lesson: although life can be hard, "no one but me is going to change my story", so "sometimes you have to be a little naughty".

One of the best English musicals of the XNUMXst century, with caustic humor and completely crazy sets!
