Next To Normal

“Next to Normal” is the story of Diana Goodman and her family. Traumatized by the death of her newborn son, Diana has lived with bipolar depressive disorder and delusional episodes for 17 years. The disease has affected everyone in her life and has almost torn her family apart on several occasions.
Tom Kitt's pop-rock score deals with strong subjects such as family, suicide, drugs, our relationship with mental illnesses as well as the ethics of the psychiatric world. An overwhelming musical.
