Oliver!

9-year-old orphan Oliver Twist is sold after asking for more dinner at the orphanage. Escaping to London, he is taken by Fagin to join his gang of pickpockets. Wrongly accused of theft, he meets a gentleman, Mr. Brownlow, who welcomes him to his home. This despairs Bill Sykes, Fagin's violent right-hand man, who plots to kidnap him and prevent him from speaking. In the middle is Nancy, the wife of Sykes whom Oliver trusts.
