Pippin

History Pippin is told by a troupe of traveling actors led by the Leading Player (a sort of Mister Loyal). Pippin is a young crown prince to the throne, in search of his "corner of the sky". Pippin returns from college confident that he will find a fulfilling purpose in life. Encouraged by the Leading Player, Pippin takes part in bloody battles, vigorous sexual adventures, and dishonest political maneuvers, only to discover that true happiness is more complicated than he thought.
With memorable music by Stephen Schwartz and award-winning choreography by Bob Fosse, Pippin is a humorous tale of the danger of false appearances and broken promises.
