Summary of the musical Six:
Six is a musical like no other about the six wives of King Henry VIII. Katherine of Aragon (divorced), Anne Boleyn (beheaded), Jane Seymour (deceased), Anne of Cleves (divorced), Catherine Howard (beheaded) and finally Catherine Parr, the sole survivor.
In the format of a pop concert, they sing their lives, their fed up with the king was unfair and the way history has treated them. In the form of songs à la Beyoncé, they try to decide which of them endured the most bullshit from the king and which suffered the worst fate.
But finally, Six is a feminist show that reverses the story we know: they are much more than the women of Henry VIII, summarized in a nursery rhyme. Now welded and united on stage, it's their turn to tell their stories.
