The Drowsy Chaperone

Wealthy Widow Mrs. Tottenham is hosting the Wedding of the Year.
Glittering Feldzieg Follies starlet Janet Van de Graaff leaves the stage for love. This turn of events horrifies Mr. Feldzieg. Its main investor sent two gangsters disguised as pastry chefs to stop the marriage.
He hires Aldolpho, a Latin lover, to seduce the bride. This plan fails because it is wrong and seduces the chaperone of Janet, a drunk diva.
It is the groom's witness, George, who breaks up the couple, when he sends the groom to waltz blindfolded and on roller skates.
This comedy, narrated by Un Homme Dans Une Chaise, is a parody of the shows of the 20s, filled with crazy twists and turns.
