The Sound of Music
(The melody of happiness)

Summary of the musical The Sound of Music :

In 1930 in Austria, young Maria failed miserably in her attempts to become a nun. When Captain Von Trapp writes to the convent looking for a governess who can handle his mischievous seven children, Maria is given the job. The captain's wife is deceased and the captain runs the house very strictly.
The seven children drive away all the governesses hired by their father. When Maria arrives, she is initially met with their hostility. Little by little, she teaches the children to sing. His kindness as well as his sense of fun give them a well-deserved joie de vivre, including that of the captain.
Maria and the captain end up falling in love when he is already engaged to a baroness
Meanwhile, Austria is about to come under Nazi control. The Captain is called up to serve in the German Navy, but he refuses to comply with the orders of the Third Reich.
