Summary of the musical An 44 summer :

In Caen in 1944, Yvonne, Rose-Marie, Solange dream of love, freedom and emancipation. Petit-Jean, Yvonne's cousin, joined the French Forces of the Interior. This pushes young women to flee the Nazi occupation for the free zone. An 44 summer follows the destiny of 6 young people in their twenties, their impossible loves and their hopes, during the few weeks which separate the Normandy Landings and the Liberation of Paris.

The show introduces us to the story of the Rochambelles, the volunteer paramedics, as well as that of the 2436 Steinway pianos landed on the French coast to support the morale of the American troops.

The show includes more than 20 songs written for the occasion by stars of French song. We will find the musical paws of Charles Aznavour, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Maxime Le Forestier, and Alain Chamfort.
