Summary of the musical Waitress:

Jenna is a great pie baker and waitress. Stuck in an unhappy marriage, she becomes pregnant by her abusive husband, Earl. Hoping to escape from this situation, she discovers a competition for the best pie that could earn her. She sees this opportunity as her chance for a new start. Becky and Dawn, her friends who also work at dinner, are there for them. But they also have their share of problems.
But the situation will not get better when Jenna starts an affair with her new gynecologist ...

However, Jenna will find the essential ingredients to emerge stronger from this situation: courage and the support of those close to her!
