Rumors had been running on social networks for several months, it is now confirmed! The Stephen Sondheim and George Furth musical which was in London for the 2019-2020 season will be at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theater in New York.

The musical, directed by Marianne Elliott (War Horse, Curious Incident) won 4 Olivier Awards earlier this year. For this cover, the sexes of some roles are reversed: Bobby becomes Bobbie, Amy becomes Jamie, etc ...
On Broadway, Patti LuPone will reprise the role of Joanne and it's Katrina Lenk (The Band's Visit) who will play Bobbie, the main role.
