The Man in the White Suit will be replaced by curtains from December 13. Unfortunately, the play did not sell well and the producers decided to cut the show short. The show, which was supposed to end on January 11, will close on December 7.
The show was not particularly well received by critics and spectators.
I went to see the show which I found very funny and very faithful to British humor even if not very subtle.
It will be curtains, the musical by Kander & Ebb which will be at Wyndham's Theater from December 13, 2019 to January 11, 2020. The musical is currently on tour across Great Britain. She will therefore make a stop in London before heading back to Liverpool, Glasgow and other cities.
The cast includes Jason Manford, Carley Stenson, Rebecca Lock, Samuel Holmes, Leah Barbara West, Alan Burkitt and Andy Coxon and many more. The production is directed by Paul Foster.
The plot follows a police officer who investigates a death among a troop of actors. He takes the opportunity to help them improve their show during his investigation!
