It was announced last week that Katharine McPhee would take over the role of Jenna in the London premiere of Waitress.
Marisha Wallace (currently in Dreamgirls) will play the role of Becky alongside Laura Baldwin (Eugenius!) as Dawn, with Peter Hannah (Cockpit) as Earl and David Hunter (Kinky Boots) in the role of Dr. Pomatter.
The musical opens its doors on February 8 at the Adelphi Theater in London.
The play is currently playing on Broadway and is based on the 2007 film of the same name which starred Keri Russell.
The plot follows a young woman in a small American town who has a talent for baking and aspires to participate in a pie contest. Her plans are hampered by an unexpected pregnancy.
The musical began on Broadway in March 2016 with Jessie Mueller playing the lead role. The musical was nominated for four Tony Awards and six Drama Desk Awards, as well as for a Grammy Award. The choreographies are by Lorin Latarro and the staging by Diane Paulus.
