On September 11, 2001, a terrorist attack struck New York. More than 30 planes are forced to land in Gander, a small island in eastern Canada. First of all, passengers cannot leave the plane for 28 hours, left without information or a means of contacting their relatives. They are then greeted by the inhabitants of Gander who have united to welcome the 7.000 disabled passengers. They plan to eat, spare parts and telephones to reassure passengers.
But all will be changed by the generosity of the people of Gander and will create unforgettable friendships and memories during this dreadful period. The musical brings together all nationalities, traditions, cultures, religions and offers a message of hope, friendship and unity.
