Marc Shaiman's musical will occupy the stage of the London Coliseum from April 22 to August 28, 2021.
It had already been announced that Michael Ball would perform Edna Turnblad.
Two incredible artists join him:
Lizzie Bea will be Tracy Turnblad. She recently appeared in the US for the world premiere of Becoming Nancy, a new musical from Stiles & Drewe. She was also Pat in the UK tour of Kinky Boots. Hairspray marks its debut in the West End!
Marisha Wallace is used to the London and New York scenes. On Broadway, she was in Aladdin et Something Rotten then on American tour in The Book of Mormon.
In London, she powerfully performed Effie White in Dreamgirls and she currently plays Becky in Waitress.
She also released a new EP called Fight Like A Woman.
She will be Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray.
