Waitress will premiere next February at the Adelphi Theater in London.
It is therefore the American actress Katharine McPhee who will take over the main role, Jenna, and that we can see performing the hits of the musical 'She Used to Be Mine' or 'What Baking Can Do'.
The young actress took over the role of Jenna last April succeeding the composer of the show Sara Bareilles. We told you about it here!
Katharine McPhee is known to the general public for her appearance in the fifth season ofAmerican Idol, his different albums and the role of Paige Dineen in the series Scorpion since 2014.
It's mainly thanks to the role of Karen Cartwright in the series Smash, directed by Steven Spielberg and whose cast includes among others Megan Hilty, Chritian Borle, Debra Messing, Leslie Odom Jr., Jeremy Jordan (and many others!) that Katharine McPhee has earned her place in our hearts. In Smash, she interpreted a young actress competing to interpret Marylin Monroe in a musical workshop named Bombshell.
