Dear Evan Hansen's London cast finally announced!

We've been waiting for months for him and he's finally here: the cast of Dear Evan Hansen has finally been revealed. The show will play from October 29, 2019 at the Noël Coward Theater in London.

The title role will be played by Sam Tutty, just graduated from Italia Conti and who we saw this summer in Once On This Island (he was truly remarkable!).

Lucy Anderson will be Zoe Murphy and Doug Colling will be Connor Murphy and Jack Loxton will be Jared Kleinman.
Lucy and Doug have just graduated from Mountview and the Royal Academy of Music respectively. We could see Jack in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time et War Horse.

The role of Cynthia Murphy is played by Lauren Ward (Carolina Gold Change, Matilda). Rupert Young will perform Larry Murphy (Plenty, Twelfth Night).
Rebecca McKinnis (Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Mamma Mia!) will be Heidi Hansen and Nicole Raquel Dennis (Waitress, Dreamgirls) will be Alana Beck.

The cast is completed by Marcus Harman (Evan understudy), Tricia-Adele Turner, David Breeds, Haydn Cox, Natalie Kassanga, Hannah Lindsey, Mark Peachy, Courtney Stapleton, Alex Thomas-Smith and James Winter.

On Broadway

The musical opened in 2016 on Broadway and instantly became a sensation.
The show won 6 Tony Awards, 2 Drama League Awards, the Grammy for Best Musical Comedy Album.
The original cast included Ben Platt, Rachel Bay Jones (respectively Tony Actor and Best Actress in a supporting role). They shared the stage with Mike Faist, Laura Dreyffus, Michael Park, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Kristolyn Lloyd and Will Roland.
The musical touches on the subjects of lies, suicide, friendship and love. Evan, a 17-year-old high school student finds himself stuck in his lies when he claims to have been friends with Connor, another high school student who has just committed suicide.
