In 1978, the world discovered the film Grease and fell in love with Joh Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.
The American television channel HBO announced that a musical series "largely inspired" by Grease would be soon on the small screens.
The series, titled Grease: Rydell High, will also take place in the 1950s. It will include some famous characters and new additions.
The musical numbers will include hit songs from the era and original compositions. The series will explore high school peer pressure, the horrors of puberty, and life in Central America. Something to please lovers of musicals.
