The flagship show 42nd Street is making a comeback at the Théâtre du Châtelet in December 2022. The show had been postponed twice. After its success in 2016, it was rumored that the show would return to Paris. First planned for 2020, it had been postponed until the end of 2021. It was finally from December 7, 2022 to January 15, 2023 that the show will be on the bill of the Parisian theater.

This is not the first musical comedy for the English choreographer and director. In the West End and on Broadway he is known for his work on Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid as well as on top Hello Dolly, Kiss Me Kate, Gypsy… the list is long. In Paris, we have already been able to discover the work of the choreographer in Singin' in the Rain and Guys and Dolls et Funny Girl at the Théâtre Marigny. Shows that were unanimous with spectators and critics.
But the biggest success remains 42nd Street. It was the theater's last show before a massive renovation. 42nd Street also marked the departure of Jean-Luc Choplin from Châtelet, to whom we owe the arrival of large productions of musicals in France.
Following its success in Paris, the show took to the stage of the Theater Royal Drury Lane.
