Whoopi Goldberg takes on the role of Deloris Van Cartier, a role she created on screen in 1992.
The show will be at the Eventim Apollo Theater from July 29 to August 30, 2020. Brenda Edwards, who will play Dolores on the tour in early 2020, will reprise the role for the Thursday afternoon performances.
Sister Act includes an original score by Alan Menken (recipient of 8 Academy Awards and 11 Grammys and known for his music from Disney films).
